The Wyld Cookery School is based in Wandsworth Town, London, offering a two week (residential if required) Chalet Cooking Course for budding seasonaires. Though a new cookery school they are old hands and their principal teacher, Fran Wyld, has taught chalet courses for the past 4 years. She is Leiths trained and has many seasons under her belt so knows exactly what’s required of a chalet host. As passionate about teaching as she is skiing she cannot wait to combine the two and get you up to speed and set for your season! The Wyld Cookery School offers a no-nonsense two week courses that will give students the knowledge and know how to host a chalet, giving their guests a great holiday but maximise the students’ time on the slopes. The emphasis is on getting their cooking skills up to scratch but they will also assist with menu planning and not to mention getting those marigolds on and start scrubbing!

The opportunity to attend one of our unique Preparation Workshops in advance of your course to enable your application process to be well under way by the time the course starts.
Anyone and everyone! The course is great for beginners AND intermediates looking to work a season as a chalet host. The course leaders treat everyone as an individual and are able to deliver great tuition due to their higher then average staff to student ratio. In week one the course will take cooking back to basics from which recipes develop over the fortnight. In the second week the students will ramp it up a notch focussing on presentation and more sophisticated food.

For advanced cooks, who have prior cooking experience, they can book a space to join in on the second week.
£1100 for the two weeks (accommodation is £125 per week (4 nights DB&B)
